LEADERSHIP

We believe in a plurality of elders who serve the congregation as pastors (shepherds).  These leaders are responsible for leading the congregation through preaching, teaching, counseling, and, most importantly, by their example as they follow Christ in their families, jobs, and communities.

We believe the office of a deacon is designed by God to minister to the needs of the saints. This includes ensuring the proper use of funds in support of our ministries, missions, and the continued care for the congregation and our place of worship.  Deacons also lead by their example as they follow Christ in their families, jobs, and communities.

Those who lead in worship at EmmanuelSGF are trusted members of our congregation who are committed to leading us in biblical worship. The songs they select, the emphasis on Scripture, the engagement of the congregation, and much more are all done intentionally and are designed to help you worship in spirit and in truth.
